  ALL TESTS AND QUESTIONS WILL BE SENT HOME AFTER GRADING.

THE NEXT "A" DAY AT EXTRA HELP ALL QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS WILL BE REVIEWED WITH STUDENTS, AT WHICH TIME THEY CAN MAKE CORRECTIONS SO THEY HAVE THE ANSWERS AND GET AN EXPLANATION FOR ANY QUESTIONS THEY MAY HAVE.

THEY CAN THEN BRING THIS HOME AND USE IT AS A REVIEW.

NO ANSWER KEYS WILL BE SENT HOME WITH INDIVIDUAL STUDENTS.

2. A Wrinkle in Time Chapter One Questions:

  • Where does the story begin? Use several phrases from the chapter to describe the setting.
  • When does the story begin? What day is it? Give specific evidence to support your answer.
  • Who is Mrs. Whatsit?

3. Grammar workbook pages 139-140

4. Spelling (Quiz on Friday): Study: Basic Spelling Rules (Silent "E", Final "Y", "IE" and "EI") It's the seventh page of the packet.

· It must be somewhere around your reading level (If you are not sure, bring the book to me for approval!)

 

· Follow given outline (NO POINTS WILL BE GIVEN TO ANY BOOK REPORT, THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, THAT DOES NOT FOLLOW ITS GIVEN OUTLINE!!!!!)

 

· Paint a picture with your words when describing a setting or any character

 

· When giving character traits or answering a question be sure to add supporting details (Give examples from the book)

 

· Reports may be typed or written in blue or black ink

 

· All reports must have a cover page stating:   

Name of book

Author's name

Your name

An illustration showing an important character or part of the story

(All illustrations must be hand drawn and colored)

  • All cover pages must be attached to the top of your report
